There is only a tiny handful of vendors who are banned here at the B&B- here are a few reasons why we would take this action.
- Failing to deliver goods sold to multiple B&B members.
- Registering under multiple usernames to create false "buzz" for a product.
- Demonstrating a pattern of rude, argumentative, and/or vulgar posts.
- Threatening members via email or PM for posting negative comments about a product.
- Knowingly deceiving other members and/or vendors to gain competitive advantage in the marketplace.
- Creating false identities on B&B after being banned, including impersonating a Veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces.
- Repeatedly spamming B&B members via PM and/or email for the sole purpose of advertising.
Do these sound like the actions of a vendor you'd like to patronize?
While wet shaving is one of the most gentlemanly hobbies around, its continuing rise to prominence has, unfortunately, encouraged a few folks with less than gentlemanly intentions to attempt to make a quick buck off of our members in decidedly nefarious ways. We wanted to give you a brief idea of the sorts of activities that have led to vendors being banned here at B&B -- an action reserved for only the most egregious cases. There are less than a half dozen such vendors.
Banning is enabled for a given vendor only after a pattern of violations, unheeded warnings, and dozens of moderator hours spent on the vendors in question. As a result of blocked vendors' actions, we do not wish B&B to serve as a source of advertisement or approval for these firms. We encourage you to discuss and patronize any of the dozens of vendors who faithfully serve the wet shaving community in a manner mindful of our simple terms of service here at B&B.
The last reason you may have reached this page is that you chased a link posted by a spammer for, or a good B&B member's accidental reference to, a male enhancement product or cheap but illegal prescription medication. Shame on you! Spend your money on a good aftershave and you'll be much happier.
