Castle Forbes is a family-run Scottish business that, among many things, produces high-end shaving creams, aftershaves, and other men's grooming requisites. As part of their many varied business ventures they have also recently begun a small family perfumery, producing a range of fragrances for men and women.
- Castle Forbes: Castle Forbes itself sets in the center of a 6,000 acre estate approx. 20 miles outside of Aberdeen, Scotland. A veritable upper-class theme-park, the Forbes Clan offers luxury overnight guest accommodations, as well as fishing in the River Don, which runs through the estate. A small area of woodland, featuring a 3,000 year old stone circle, is open for natural burial.
- The Perfumery: Beginning in 1996 the Forbes Clan began to produce fragrances in an adjacent dairy barn.

- Shave Creams: Probably Castle Forbes most popular and respected products are their shave creams. Though marketed as creams, Castle Forbes products are quite firm and are closer in consistency to soft Italian-Style shaving soaps rather than traditional English or European creams. They come in three fragrances, Lavender EO, Cedarwood and Sandalwood EO, and the beloved Lime EO and are available in 200 ml/6.8 oz plastic tubs.
- Aftershaves: Castle Forbes offers alcohol-free aftershave balms in the same fragrances as the shave creams. In common with the shave creams these balms contain essential oils as opposed to synthetic fragrances. The balms come in 4.4 oz. glass bottles.
- Travel Sizes: Recently Castle Forbes has introduced smaller travel sized versions of their shaving creams, pre-shave oils and after-shave balms. The creams are 50 ml/1.7 oz. and the oil and balms are 30 ml/1 oz. All are in "TSA Approved" plastic bottles and are, with the exception of the oil (which is unscented), available in the full range of fragrances. The travel size balms are also available in the 1445 scent.
- Other Shaving Requisites: Complimenting the shave creams as well are a line of pre-shave ointments. Available in the three traditional fragrances as well as an unscented version, these are not oils but water-soluble combinations of aloe, Vitamin E and other ingredients.
- Fragrances: Known for its small family-run perfumery Castle Forbes also makes a small range of colgones. Eau de Parfums, rather than the more common Eau de Toilette, these scents, the citrus and fern Gentlemen's Cologne, 1445 a complex blend of lemon and spice , the green herbs and pine Forbes of Forbes, the zesty citrus and wood Keig, and the dry herbal and complex woods blend Lonach are available in 4.4 oz glass natural spray bottles.

Until recently Castle Forbes products were available through the venerable U.S. retailer Saks. Though it is regrettably no longer stocked Castle Forbes products can still be found in the U.S. at a small number of e-tailers specializing in men's grooming products.
