Established 1875 in Curzon Street, Mayfair, by Mr George Trumper, the business has served the needs of London gentlemen and members of the Royal Court for over 125 years, and has been honoured with the Royal Warrant of Queen Victoria and five subsequent monarchs. In the two shops Trumper continue the tradition of excellence established many years ago, meeting the grooming needs of gentlemen from all fields including leading figures in government, industry and the entertainment world.

George Trumper (founder) was a gentlemen’s perfumer who created bespoke fragrances to order that would remain exclusive to one gentleman until he stopped paying for the bespoke service and the ‘ownership rights’. After a year or two ‘holding time’ Trumper would bottle the fragrance for general sale in his Curzon Street salon, often giving it the name of their former patron, hence Astor, Marlborough, Silvester and others.
