Pacific Shaving Oil, generally known and referred to as "PSO" is the primary product of the Pacific Shaving Company (based in San Francisco). PSO should not be confused with PreShaveOil, as PSO is a Shaving Oil. PSO is, however, commonly used as a pre-shave application for those looking to give their skin an extra protecitve-barrier in addition to shave cream/soap. Gentlemen with sensitive or dry skin may benefit from the use of PSO as a pre-shaving treatment.
Its primary intended use is that of a Shaving Oil, as a replacement for tradional foaming shave cream and shave gel, but as mentioned is often touted as a pre-shave application.
