Dry shaving is universally regarded as uncomfortable, and electric shaving (which can be dry) is practical in some cases, but less preferred by the patrons of Badger & Blade. As such, it may be useful for wet shavers to understand more about water, and how local water affects his or her shave.

	No, it's not Michael Jackson. It's a still of Barbara Steele from Mario Bava's ''La maschera del demonio'' (The Mask of Satan) aka Black Sunday. I'm a big fan of older (before 1982) horror and science-fiction movies, and have a collection of about 1500 DVDs (including only horror, sci-fi, mystery, etc.) going back to the silent era. Barbara Steele is my favorite female actress in horror, and Mario Bava is my favorite director, so it's only natural to take my avatar from one of my favorite films by this team.
